Jaan Nissar Lone is a prominent Bollywood Music Composer and Director , a playback singer and the founder of Jammu & Kashmir's 1st International Music Record Label - AR Studios.

Hailing from Kashmir- the valley of gushing rivers, shiny waterfalls, picturesque surroundings, and lush green forests, Jaan has contributed immensely for the revival of the Valley's Music and Tradition. His famous works like Peer Myanio, Khodaaya, Harmukh Bartal, Katyu Chukh Nundhbaane, Maenz -e-Raat and Salam-e-Wazwan have made him a sensation in Kashmir and earned him the name "The Valley's Jaan" meaning "Life of the Valley."

He has studied in one of the most credited institutions of India- Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya. From his childhood days, he has been inclined to Music and feels it intrinsic to his existence. He joined the prestigious Trinity Music School for Western Music and reputed Patiala Gharana for Indian Classical Music. After completing his education in the field of music, He shifted to Mumbai (the City of dreams) and composed music for various movies which include “Ginny Weds Sunny” Starring Yami Gautam & Vikrant Messy , “PRANAAM” Starring Rajiv Khandelwal , “The Family Man” Webseries, socially acclaimed movie “Shudra The Rising", "Multi Starer", “18.11 A Code of Secrecy” and many more.

Discerning his predisposition for Sufi Music, He also composed songs like Allah Teri Kya Shaan hai that was nominated in the Radio Mirchi Sufi song of the year. Notably, He has recently honored with prestigious KL SEHGAL NATIONAL AWARD by the Indian former Home Minister Shri Sushil Kumar Shinde and Dadasaheb Phalke Award 2022 by Shri Ramdas Athawale Minister of Social Justice and Empowerment of India.

His recent composition(s) include "Malanga- sabse oonchi yaar faqeeri" that crossed 2 million hits and was loved by the masses as it delivered the message of harmony, peace and brotherhood to the citizens of the world and "Wafa Kartum", shot in UAE testifying that "Great Art knows no bounds or boundaries" leads its listeners to a place where their beliefs exist without borders.
